Welcome from Principal Beth Devine
Thanks for visiting the Tyngsborough Elementary School website. Everyone at TES understands that our mission is to educate the whole child and provide each child a solid foundation so that they will be successful in the future. The school strives for each individual student to reach his/her fullest potential. Our curriculum is based upon the Massachusetts State Curriculum Frameworks and is designed to build a strong foundation of the basic skills while challenging the students to think critically about the world around them.

TES Day One
We had a wonderful first day and hopefully your children are now sharing their exciting stories about the first day. Unbelievably, this summer we had approximately 30-40 new students enroll at TES. You may want to check with your children to see if they have a new friend in their class, and/or encourage them to make a new friend.
Register Now for Fall 2010 Spanish FLEX
Fall 2010 Spanish FLEX classes are forming now for all Tyngsborough Elementary & Middle School students grades K-7. Students will explore the Spanish language through stories, games, interactive instruction, cultural activities, and music with an emphasis on oral communication. Curriculum offerings will be tailored to both beginning and returning participants.

2010-2011 TES Updates
Bus lists and routes have been posted on the school doors, and are listed on the district website.
The school will be open for students and families to visit on Monday, 8/30 from 3pm-4pm. There may be staff in the building at that time, but this will not be an official teacher meet-and-greet. It will be an opportunity to locate classrooms, tour the building, and help ease any anxiety or back-to-school nerves!
TES New Student Luncheon
All preschool through 5th grade students and families who are new to TES (and attending a full-day program in the fall) are invited to attend our New Student Luncheon.
