Preschool Program
Our Preschool programs provide a mixed-aged experience with a variety of scheduling options for children ages three and four. These classrooms service both children with disabilities and their typically developing peers. All classrooms share the same philosophy with emphasis on the development of the “whole child” through play based and structured learning activities. Preschool programs are available on a reasonable tuition basis.
The curriculum in the Preschool program is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks and provides opportunities for open-ended activities and hands-on learning. Early Intervention services are provided through our affiliation with the Anne Sullivan Center. A teacher and a paraprofessional will staff all classes. In addition, consultation and services will be provided as needed by the Elementary School's Special Education team. This provides an opportunity for typical children to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of these professionals.
Placement notification letters were sent home in late April. As of Wednesday, 5/19/10 we can no longer accept registrations for the M/W/F afternoon class. There is not enough interest to run the program.
Based on parent acceptances we now have limited availability in all other programs and will continue to accept registrations until those programs are full.
Print your checklist first so that you know what documents are needed for registration.
IF YOUR CHILD ALREADY ATTENDS TES YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO FILL OUT THE PROGRAM OPTION FORM.
